Maternity Shoot: Lindsey and Wade’s Outdoor Winter Shoot

I am so happy to share this shoot. I met Lindsey and Wade a little over two years ago at my best friend, Ashley’s, 3oth Birthday. I remember leaving telling Ashley, “I love that Lindsey girl, she’s awesome!” So when Ashley got married last year and told me the bridesmaids line up I was excited that Lindsey was in there with me. This lady is thoughtful, warm, hilarious, and one of those individuals who brightens a room. We got to know each other better at the celebrations leading to the wedding and at the destination wedding itself. Lindsey thinks of others first and can plan and arrange things so beautifully(as you see in her nursery and accessories for the shoot). At the bachelorette party I remember Lindsey telling me how badly she wanted to be a mom…. and how soon she wanted it to happen. I was overjoyed when I received the facebook message this summer asking if I would be available to take maternity pictures this winter. I knew Lindsey and her adorable husband Wade would make for a fun, beautiful, full of joy shoot as they are excited beyond words to welcome their first son into the world.

This is Ziggy the big “fur brother” and an adorable one at that!

Had to include Izzy, baby’s big “fur sister” in the action too. Isn’t she beautiful?!

After oogling over their adorable home, nursery, and Kittens we headed out into the Wisconsin winter.

Baby Boy is so lucky to have parent’s so much in love. These two have that genuine, laugh with each other, never ending support kind of love. Lindsey and Wade are going to be wonderful parents.

OKAY, so the next images are my FAVORITE from the shoot! When I told Lindsey to grab a blanket and take her tank top off her eyes got big and her voice quivered a bit as she asked, “are you serious?” Yes she thought I was insane… it was 30 degrees out and we were in her mainly open backyard surrounded by others’ homes but she did it. The images  were well worth the insanity, and I can not get over how stunning Lindsey looks as she awaits the arrival of her first baby!
